The Freemotion harness is used by the world's best racers.
How to choose a Freemotion harness size?
Choosing the right size harness is very important, a small position can suffocate the dog or rub it somewhere, a large one, on the other hand, can slide down where it shouldn't and can hinder the furrier's movement.
We should put two fingers under a well-fitting harness in the neck area.
The lower neck part of the harness should end at the sternum.
We have to check that the fur does not rub behind the paws, that would mean the harness is too small.
How to adjust the Freemotion harness correctly?
First, you need to set the correct back length. Using the two straps on the horse harness, we move the loop by which the dog pulls us (traction point) to the root of the tail. Both straps must be the same length! After adjustment, we pass the straps twice with a steel buckle to prevent them from slipping out.
The straps on the sides of the harness are used to prevent unwanted movement of the towing point. If the dog is standing still, set them so that they are in the permitted state. They only stretch during running.
